DJ: He lost his credibility.
DG: But he gained it back when he admitted he was in error. You wouldn't do that!
DJ: I don't usually make mistakes!

DJ: In 2010 they're gonna put a trailer hitch on the Prius because of their towing capabilities.
BH: Yeah, except they're puttin' it on the front.
DJ: You wouldn't know, you've never ridden in a Prius.
BH: That's because I'm askeared of it.

"That's borderline sacrilege." -RS, a former Marine.

"Never let your face show how hard your a** is being kicked." -BH.

Coffee

6:30 was entirely too early to be awake this morning, especially when one needs to fight with her sister over the bathroom (she won, since she's still in school). Today's conversation revolved around the national tax, the pharmacist and the Bible study in San Diego, along with North Korea the world's shortest river (either the Roe in MT or Oregon's D) and the world's largest lake (Lake Baikal by volume, Lake Michigan by surface area). Just how far a person can see at sea level on a clear day is still up to debate.

Real Life 101

This morning I forewent a lovely morning sleeping in to join the Brain Trust at the local coffee shop. As usual, my unofficial professors did not fail to educate me on life -- literally, the conversation revolved around biology (which was never my forte).

While my sister and her friend went shopping this afternoon, I stopped by the Army recruiting station for help on a project. They showed me an Army recruiting vid and another one which I can't find . . . but it involved recruiters kidnapping people off of the streets. It was pretty epic. If I can find the latter, I'll use both in my presentation on military advertising this week.
