In Colorado Springs, CO, James Parsons shot and killed Sean Kennedy when Kennedy broke into Parsons' house, believing it to be his own. I bet the fact that Kennedy's blood-alcohol level was over triple the legal CO limit for driving had something to do with that. Parsons "is protected under Colorado's 'Make My Day' law, which allows people to use deadly force in self-defense in their home against intruders" (FNC).
